Writer's Block and the Daily Fight
Seriously, it is...I kid you not.
There have been times I have been so stuck on a point that I wanted to bash my head off a table.
Instead, I work on taking what I have written with pen and paper and typing it into my computer. checking the spelling and grammar as I go. This look gives me a chance to take time to re-read what I have done and also make any changes to the story as I go.
And I always seem to fix the problem I was hopelessly stuck on.
Give it a try...you never know until you do.
