Stalled Dreams

What do you do when it feels like your dreams are stalled and might never come true? I wish I knew because I'm there right now...Having said that, I get that good things come to those who wait, that things take time...yadda yadda, blah, blah, blah. When I hear things like that it sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher in my head. But this time it feels like I'm spinning my wheels and no one in sight with the means to help me out. So I have put the machine in park and am trying to find a way out of this rut. I am not giving up.

  1. It was difficult to find this blog at all...

I'm wondering why you don't take ownership of your author page on goodreads - add links to your blog, update book info, etc. You can also link your blog to an author page on Amazon.com, and update book and personal information too, through Author Central.

But also, I wonder if you'd like to do a guest post - see:

It won't do anything magical to your sales, but every little publicity helps, and I do like talking about bisexual female vampires on my blog.

I'm also asking people to suggest questions for a new blog award for vampire lovers, which could be an opportunity for linky fun...

    1. Hi, I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. The blog is undergoing repairs and a rebuild. It's a slow process, but it's coming along nicely. If you'd like you can contact me directly at cjgalaway@mail.com

Again I apologize for not seeing this sooner.

  2. Never give up! Write something new. Free write. Try flash fiction or poetry. Try writing in a genre you've never tried before, join a writer's group, not online, so that you have deadlines and feedback. And last but not least, look at the post on my FB page that tells how many times some of the most popular books were rejected. It might make you feel better. By the way, I like the clean look of your blog. Write on...

    1. Thank you, it's coming along nicely, I think. There's a lot of work to be done yet, but it is happening.
